Meet Cash!Cash is a sweet, affectionate pup with plenty of personality, plenty of love to give, and—like any good puppy—plenty of opinions about what should and should not be considered a chew toy.At heart, Cash is a lovable guy who wants to be close to his people. He absolutely loves belly rubs, happily hands out face kisses, and is always ready to soak up some attention. When the day is over, though, Cash doesn't need to be glued to your side. He actually prefers sleeping in his kennel and is comfortable settling down in his own space.He's also doing great with his potty routine and lets his people know when he needs to go outside!Cash is still very much a puppy, which means curiosity sometimes gets the better of him. He likes to investigate everything, can be a busy chewer, and will need a family prepared to continue working on his puppy manners and making sure he has plenty of appropriate toys and outlets for that young-dog energy.One area Cash especially needs continued work on is his enthusiastic greetings. He frequently jumps up on the children in his current home, and despite his past family working with him on this behavior, he hasn't quite figured out that four paws on the floor is the polite way to say hello. Cash isn't looking for perfection—he's looking for someone who understands that puppies are a work in progress. With consistency, appropriate boundaries, plenty of things he's actually allowed to chew, and lots of those belly rubs he loves so much, Cash has all the makings of a wonderful companion.If you're looking for an affectionate, goofy young dog and don't mind putting in a little work to help him become the best version of himself, Cash may be your guy!  They were rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas and adopted a few months ago, but came back into our care due to a divorce. Meet and greets are by appointment only.  An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.
