Description

Meet Nala  Nala is a tiny sweetheart who has had her world turned upside down more than once. Her most recent mom, an elderly woman battling cancer, heartbreakingly had to give Nala up when she could only keep one pet. Now, Nala is looking for a loving forever home where she can finally settle in and feel secure. While she can be a little shy at first, Nala is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and easy to love. Once she feels comfortable, her true personality shines—she's a total cuddle bug who wants nothing more than to be close to her people. In her foster home, she's been so well behaved that she's earned a spot sleeping in bed at night! Nala is house-trained, calm, and enjoys a relaxed lifestyle. She's the kind of dog who is happy to curl up beside you, soak up affection, and simply be part of the family. Loud environments and lots of commotion can still make her nervous, so she'd do best in a quieter home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. A secure fenced in yard is required as Nala startles easily. She even comes with her beloved Lambchop toy from her previous mom—a small piece of comfort from her journey. Nala doesn't need much—just a patient, loving family and a soft place to land. In return, she'll give you endless snuggles and unconditional love. She is up to date on her vaccines and will be altered. Her adoption donation is $4 50.  - Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home. How to Adopt Me!
