FOREVER HOME WANTED: MEET RUDY! Meet Rudy, our tall, handsome, approximately 2-year-old Labradoodle who is quickly proving that being a very good boy might actually be his full-time job. Rudy is around 70 pounds and still a little skinny, so he has some filling out to do. Luckily, this guy absolutely loves his food and treats, so we don’t anticipate any complaints from Rudy about that assignment. He can be a little shy when he first meets you, but underneath that initial hesitation is an incredibly sweet, affectionate and gentle guy. Once he feels comfortable, Rudy becomes your quiet little shadow. He follows his foster mom from room to room and, when she settles down, he settles down right there with her. Rudy is great with other dogs, good with kids, walks nicely on leash, rides great in the car, appears to be potty trained and does well in a crate. He is affectionate without being overly demanding and loves being near his person. He is calm, not jumpy or hyper, and is very food and treat motivated. He also isn’t a counter surfer or a dog who goes around stealing things. BONUS: Rudy has more of a traditional Lab/retriever coat, so while he’ll need regular brushing and coat care, he doesn’t require the frequent haircuts and grooming schedule typically associated with a doodle. Basically, Rudy is a 70-pound handsome shadow who wants to eat your snacks, follow you around the house and then take a nap wherever you happen to be. Rudy is located in Southern California.
