TIGRI NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Tigri          Best Guess for Breed: Lab/Terrier    Best Guess for Age:  3.5 years as of Sept. 2026          SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:  68.4lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  Puerto Rico shelter; needs DC area foster or forever home   Special adoption considerations:  Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure they can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.   Tigri is Looking For: Her forever home! This big girl has an equally big heart, and she's ready to pack her bags, leave island behind, and hopefully play in snow! She's heard that's really fun. She can't wait to find her forever home filled with treats, love, and belly rubs (but not necessarily in that order). She might find life in the DC area a bit overwhelming at first, so she'd like to request adopters who can show all the wonderful and amazing things the world has to offer.
