Description

Noir is a female cat who presented bright, alert, and responsive (BAR) with a large laceration on her left rear flank that required surgical repair. The laceration has been repaired, but Noir will require continued monitoring, wound care, and appropriate postoperative recovery to ensure proper healing and prevent infection or other complications. This level of specialized postoperative care and recovery support exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment.Despite her condition, Noir remains resilient and is doing her best while receiving supportive care. Noir needs a safe, compassionate placement where she can receive continued veterinary monitoring, appropriate wound care, and a calm environment to recover and regain her comfort.This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to medical concerns beyond our scope of care.
