9/26/26 Remember Ingrid, the pup who was literally begging to be saved back in July? Well she’s still waiting for a home. PLEASE SHARE! See videos in comments of her begging to be saved. Recently some wonderful volunteers took her on a field trip-to the spa, the drive through, and to the park. She loved it all…except the Mediterranean food at the drive lol not her taste All her info: Her story: Meet Ingrid! This adorable sweet girl with the super cute under bite is looking for a family who will never abandon her again. Ingrid was found on the street the weekend of the 4th of July. In 20+ years of rescue, I have never seen a dog who wanted to be rescued so bad. She was literally trying to jump in the window of the car. When the person who found her tried to drive away, Ingrid stood in the road crying and howling - literally BEGGING for help. Thankfully, these kind people did help. They opened the car door and she hopped right in. She has been safe in a foster home since then but is ready for a family of her own. She deserves it. We don't know how long she was on the street. But we believe it was at least a few days. For the 1st 2 days she was in her foster home, all she did was sleep. She was completely exhausted. I wonder how many people she begged to rescue her, before someone finally helped her (thank you Kim and others who helped). Breed & personality: We don't know Ingrid's breed, but my guess is boxer mix. With the under bite, that seems to be a possibility. Of course there could be 100 other breeds mixed in as well. There's no telling. What we do know is that Ingrid is full of love. She has a good energy level - plenty energetic enough to play and have fun, but she knows how to chill out and cuddle too. She is great with kids and is indifferent towards other non aggressive dogs. She would probably enjoy playing with another dog with similar energy. Age & size: Ingrid is about 2 years old and roughly 45 lbs. She is an excellent car rider, and she is crate trained. Ingrid is located in Arkansas. She can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in MD, PA, NJ, or CT on Saturdays.
