Meet Bailey! A beautiful girl with a sweet, timid nature looking for the right person to bring her home.Bailey had a bit of a rough start, being abandoned at a pet store. She spent the first few weeks in foster hiding out in the bathroom cabinets. But with love and time, her personality has begun to truly shine.Bailey is very chatty in the morning, updating you on all the happenings overnight while you were sleeping. She is very inquisitive and likes to watch you do pretty much anything!Like any high class lady, Bailey knows exactly what she likes and what she doesn’t like.Her two great loves are brushing, and wand toys. She will jump up to sit next to you as soon as you pat the brush on the bed. She loves for you to show your devotion by brushing her beautiful torbie coat. Bailey is also very playful! She enjoys her scratching post, and chasing balls around, but her most favorite are wand toys. She'll happily chase a wand toy, jump up in the air, and roll over on her back when playing. She will use both paws to catch it, like she's catching a bug.As far as what she doesn’t like, Bailey will let you definitely know. One look and her RBF will tell you when you’re about to go too far. If you miss the look she will send a paw your way, so make sure to pay attention. She doesn’t use her claws, just a light tap to let you know her boundaries are being pushed. She is iffy about her cat tree so far, preferring cozier, more hidden spots for her nap time. She will accept pets on her head/behind the ears, and she will tell you if she’s not in the mood for that. While she is not a lap cat or a cuddler per say, she will sit next to you for long periods of time, so she would be a great companion for someone who enjoys watching TV or movies on the couch. Netflix and purrs anyone?Bailey needs someone who understands she is going to be shy (at first) and is ok with taking it slow. Bailey is best suited for a home where she is the solo cat. She would thrive in a quiet, low key home, with someone who can give her space and support at the same time. She absolutely enjoys human company; Bailey has lots of affection to give, and wants to give it, but because she was abandoned she’s going to be understandably nervous in a new space.
