Description

Meet Tigger, the adolescent brown tabby cat. Tigger came into the Shelter as a stray. Although initially nervous, Tigger warmed up to staff and volunteers – purring, small meows and seeking pets. Tigger will thrive with an adopter who will take things slow with him moving forward and allow him to decompress in his adoptive home. A home with other animals may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Tigger may be able to live indoor outdoor in his next home after a period of acclimating to his new home (at least 30 days). He may be just as happy indoors full time.Tigger is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
