Meet Lexi, the adorable brown tabby kitten! This pipsqueak came to the Shelter as a stray so we don't know about her life before now. She spent about a week in foster care where her foster reports: `Lexi is super sweet kitty and loves people and cuddles. She loves laying on our chest, sitting on shoulders and rubbing against our neck. She likes the ball toy that you sent with her. She is getting used to the dog (but is not a fan so far). She does not like to sleep on her kitty bed, blankets or towels and prefers to sleep on the crate floor or on her stretching post.... or most prefers to sleep on people.`Lexi is available for pre-adoption. Come meet her, fall in love and take her home after her spay surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
