Meet Ricky! Ricky is a handsome 1 1/2 year old, 15 lb. dachshund with soulful eyes, a big personality, and an even bigger love for his people. This sweet boy man need a little time to decide if you've passed his background check, but once you're in his circle, you're in and Ricky is all about snuggles.  Ricky can be a little wary of strangers and may get a little barky when he finds himself in unfamiliar situations. Loud or unexpected noises can also startle him, so he'll do best with a patient family who will give him time to settle in, build his confidence, and experience new things at his own pace.  Underneath that cautious exterior is an affectionate little guy who absolutely loves being close to his people. Ricky isn't looking to be the life of that party, he's looking for someone he can trust, a cozy place to curl up under his blankie, and a family who understands that sometimes the best relationships take a minute to build.  If you're willing to earn Ricky's trust, you'll be rewarded with one seriously loyal little snuggle buddy. Ricky is up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. He adoption fee is $300.
