Hi! My name is Eloise, and I'm a 1 year old dilute tortoiseshell girl! Dilute means that instead of orange and black, my fur is peach and grey! I am sharing a cage with my children. I am waiting for just the right person to be my furever family--I can be really sweet with the right person, but if your vibe is off, I'm not my best self. The people at the shelter think maybe I had some bad experiences when I was young, and that's why I'm not a fan of some people and love others. I'm an observant girl, and if I like you, I want alllll the pets and I'll let you pick me up and snuggle! Also, I have a really good purr. If you're looking for more than one kitty, you could get me and one of my children! But I'm okay if we are adopted separately--I just want what is best for each of us.    The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
