Meet our sweet Penny! Penny came to us when her owner was injured and could no longer take care of Penny. Penny is a sweet girl, about 3 years old. She is very affectionate and friendly. She does well with other dogs and cats. Her foster family reports she loves chin scratches and loves to go for walks outside. They state she is also calm and quiet and is potty trained. Penny would love to find her own fur-ever home. She is a dachshund and is about 25-26 pounds. An approved adoption application is required. The $250 adoption fee (payable by cash or check only) includes spay/neuter; microchip; vaccinations; heartworm and tick disease testing; fecal w/ giardia testing, monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention . Dogs for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application. Proof of completion of an obedience class is required for all dogs following adoption. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.
