Meet Beetle Beetle is 2½ years old, beautifully black, incredibly sweet—and sadly, very easy to overlook. She was born with her hips slightly out of alignment, which means she has a little wobble when she walks and an adorable sashay when she runs. Honestly, we think it just gives her a little extra personality. And despite what some people assume, Beetle is NOT a special-needs cat. She doesn’t need anything special except what every shy cat deserves: a little patience, a little understanding, and someone willing to let her take things at her own pace. Beetle is quiet and shy at first. She may not be the cat who runs up to greet you or immediately demands attention. But give her time to trust you, and you’ll discover the incredibly sweet girl hiding underneath that cautious exterior. She has spent far too much time being passed over because people see her little wobble and assume she’s somehow “different.” She is different—but only in the best way. ❤️ Beetle doesn’t need to be fixed. She doesn’t need to be rescued from herself. She just needs someone patient enough to let her show you who she really is. Could you be Beetle’s person?
