Adorable Max is a 2 and a half year old male Bichon Frise. Unfortunately for Max, he was acquired as a puppy and came to us in the Fall when his 82 year old owner could no longer take care of him.  Max came to us completely terrified from losing his home and he was not socialized very much due to his owner’s age, staying in the apartment most of the time.  Max excelled when we put him with another small dog for a few weeks and he really came out of his shell.  Max needs a calm situation without too many people coming and going and we will not put him with a family with small children or grandchildren.   A simple routine would be wonderful for this little guy.  Max has come a long way and has learned "touch" for a cookie and to meet new people.  Sometimes he brings his favorite toy to "touch" instead of a cookie.  He loves his crate and never ever has accidents.
