SWEET, BEAUTIFUL & A TAD SHY: Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 33 lbs. Hi, I'm Kaelie! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a home! Thankfully, they took me in, and I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I'm now ready to find a family of my very own. I think that is the best news ever! Come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and wasn't quite ready to play with them, and I did a low growl, though didn't show any aggression. Could be I need a bit more time to get to know them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet and see if we can be friends. / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a beautiful, sweet, and friendly girl with a gentle, polite nature and a desire to please! I've been an active, and cuddly girl who has fun in the Mostly Mutts play yard with the volunteers and even showed off my favorite “downward dog” yoga stretch! I can be a little shy and unsure in new surroundings, and I was timid during my bath at first, but I'm warming up as I get more comfortable. I'm currently a little more comfortable with women, so having a female take the lead initially may help me feel at ease. With patience, gentle guidance, and positive experiences, I'm sure my confidence will continue to grow, and I'll become more comfortable with everyone I meet. / Energy level: 4-6.       • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the 'sit', 'down', 'stay' and 'come' commands and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. Sometimes I'm a little hesitant coming out of it, since the shelter can be busy and loud. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too.     • LIKES/DISLIKES: I like spending time with the nice volunteers, and toys are fun, too! Playing in the Mostly Mutts play yard with both is even more fun! I'm sure we'll discover lots of other things we like doing together once I'm all settled into our new home. / Other than being rushed into new situations or with new people, like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I'm a wonderful dog looking for a family that will make me a special part of their lives and love me furever! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
