Greetings, human people! My name is Hughes, and I am a 5 month old boy kitty with grey/blue fur. I'm told I look like a Russian Blue, and I can see it. If we're being honest with each other, I am a little spicier than my brother Jack, who I'm sharing a cage with. I'm a smart, curious boy who will likely run away from your hands if you come visit and try to pet me. I am just still learning how to trust people. I have heard about furever families, and I think having one of those would be nice--people who will be patient with me and give me love and treats, that I could eventually learn to snuggle and love back in turn! I don't have to be adopted with my brother--we just want each other to find the right furever home--but if you're looking for two boys who already love each other and can come to love you, we would be a great choice!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
