Hello! You can call me Jack, because that's what everyone here at the shelter calls me. I'm a 5 month old boy kitty with a solid grey coat. I have the look of a Russian Blue, and I might have a little bit of an attitude. I might hiss at you when you come to visit, but I actually will let you pet me if you give me a minute or two to warm up. I'm sharing a cage with my brother Hughes, and I am friendlier than he is. Mostly, we're just a little nervous and scared being here at the shelter, because there is so much going on that we don't understand. I've heard about furever homes, and those sound pretty amazing, so I hope we get one of those soon. We don't have to be adopted together, but if you're looking for two very pretty boys ready to learn how to love, we might be who you want!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
