Well hi there! My name is Smarty Pants, and I'm a 5 month old boy kitty with sleek black fur! I bet you can guess how I got my name--apparently, I'm an intelligent little dude! I am curious, and I'm also cautious. But I'm also smart enough to know that getting pet is pretty cool, so don't hesitate to come visit me and give me some love. I like playing, and I get along with other kitties as long as no one's trying to steal my toys! I also really like cozying up inside of a box or cat condo, so I hope my furever home has some boxes or stuff for me to curl up in. Anyway, if you're looking for your very own house panther, I might be the right boy for you!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
