Description

Hi! I’m Sandy B and I’m a gal that’s just under 3 (years old). If I had to describe myself in 3 words it would be: Sweet n Low. I have short legs and I love to snuggle. At about 30 pounds I fit (almost) perfectly on your lap—at least the front half of me does.  I have the body shape and attitude of a corgi so I’m probably a corgi mix. I can be a bit bossy and will herd you around the house, but I’m oh-so fluffy and cute.   I haven’t had an accident in the house, I don’t chew on things, and I like my crate—with the door open. I walk nicely on a leash. Though I sometimes want to chase cats when I see them, it’s pretty easy to get me back on track. When I’m not snuggling right into your neck, I like to nap all over the house, adding to the decor as the cutest living rug or couch cushion.  I need someone who will patiently work with me on my separation anxiety and help me feel safe and secure. I am VERY chill when someone’s around, but I do not like being left and I’m vocal about it. I think I’m getting better each day!  I am okay with other dogs, but don’t always like them in my space. My foster sister and I have figured out how to share treats and humans, but I might need some time and careful supervision to warm up to a future sibling. I haven’t been around many kids and I am a bit mouthy and jumpy when I get excited so would probably only do well with older, dog savvy kids.  I know when I find my forever family I will love them to bits and when I finally get settled into a home my confidence will grow. I didn’t know many tricks or commands when I first got to my foster but I learn quick and want to please!
