Meet Maria!Her and Yzma are best buddy sisters looking to find a home together.We think these girls are between one and two years old. We are pretty sure they are sisters. They look a lot alike and they’re very attached to each other. They play and snuggle and keep each other company which makes them really easy to have around.Maria is the bigger of the two at a whopping 10 pounds. Yzma is a petite 7 pounds. The two of them together are still smaller than a lot of small dogs! And they’re pretty brave little girls. Size does not slow them down!These girls came to Santa Barbara County Animal Services from a neglect situation, but they have blossomed in foster care. They are housebroken and pretty chill to have around. They have learned to like going on leash walks but they also play with each other a lot as well as with the big dogs in the house so they don’t need a lot of exercise. In fact they’ve made even my old husky playful. Everybody loves them!They are super snuggly with people they know. Yzma, being so tiny, is more nervous around new people. She also thinks she’s a heeler and may try to herd a new person— but once you pick her up she just settles in.We want the two of them to go together because they are clearly so attached. And because having them together makes it easier to leave them. They have each other for company so they’d be fine in a home where they are left during the day.
