Fiona came to Humane Colorado as a stray and was initially pretty fearful and would tremble and growl as new people approached her. With patience and familiarity her sweet, affectionate personality has emerged and she's now much more confident and comfortable when meeting new staff and volunteers. She likes to first give a sniff and then leans in for scratches. This delightful girl doesn't care about treats but she sure does love to be leashed and go to the play yard to explore and sniff! She's easy to walk and enjoys taking breaks for affection. Given her lack of history and initial fear we recommend a home with experienced, patient owners and older children who will let her take her time getting comfortable in her new home. We recommend a visit with all family members.
