Penelope is looking for a calm, consistent home with someone who can be home most of the day.  She loves her person and wants to be a constant companion to them.    Initially she is cautious with new people and she really needs to meet them on her time, so new people need to sit and allow her to decide she is ready to meet you. She can have a bit of Feist energy, she is good with other dogs but not all dogs care for her  energy. She is trained to pee pads, is good on a leash.  She would really make a great companion for someone, retired who wants a walking companion. Age: 4 years Weight: 25 lbs Temperament: Gets along with other dogs who don't mind her energy.  Only older, respectful kids, too much chaos and she may nip, she also guards food and toys.  Gets along with dog-savvy cats - she likes them but may chase them.
