Description

Twinkle is a spayed 7 month old female cat, up to date on vaccinations. She needs to be an only pet. Here’s what her foster volunteer says about her after only 1 week in her care:   How would you describe the cat's general personality? Twinkle is affectionate, hilarious, charming, and confident. She follows humans around the house and gives her opinion on things when prompted (she tends to meow when you say hello, which is awesome). She's curious and active, always exploring different toys, corners, and pillows.   Does the cat enjoy being pet? Twinkle loves people and approaches when she wants to be pet. She is a big purr-er.   If yes, on what parts of its body does the cat like to be pet? She loves being pet on her head, chin, behind her ears, and her upper back.   Are there any parts of its body that the cat does NOT like being touched? Twinkle doesn't like being touched on the tummy or back legs.   Does the cat come on your lap? Yes! Twinkle is a big lap princess when her energy is lower. If you're sitting for a long period of time near her, she'll hop on.   Does the cat like to be held? Twinkle doesn't mind being held when she needs to move, but doesn't love it for longer than a minute or so. She does enjoy being held while a human is sitting and cuddling in their lap.   Does the cat sleep in your bed? She tends to sleep in a pillow next to my bed, or on the foot of my bed.   Does the cat seek your attention? Yes! She gets in vocal moods, especially when she wants food, love, or to go into another room. She butts her head into your hand or foot when she wants to be pet, also.   Does the cat like to play? Yes! She is very playful.   What are the cat's favorite games and toys? Twinkle is a fan of strings and sticks (like pens, which I usually have to take away). She pelts sticks and balls, and plays with strings with her mouth. Beware of cords!   How vocal is the cat? Twinkle is vocal when the vibe of the room is active, or when you just come home. When she wants to go to a different room, wants food, or wants attention, she'll meow. But she rarely does so when people are sleeping or resting.   What kinds of sounds does the cat make? She meows!   Does the cat scratch a scratcher? Yes. If no, please explain. Does the cat always use the litter box? Yes. If no, please explain.   What food and frequency is the cat currently eating? Twinkle eats twice a day: half a can of wet food, and half a cup of dry. Is the cat picky about food? No! What is the cat's favorite treat? She loves classic crunchy treats. What medication is the cat on, and how is it administered? N/A   Does the cat ever swat (claws in) at you? If so, under what circumstances? Has the cat ever scratched (claws out) you? Does the cat ever nip (teeth without breaking skin) you? Has the cat ever bitten you (breaking skin)? Twinkle only swats, scratches, or nips when you touch her stomach or back of her body, but has never done so unprompted.   To the best of your knowledge, how does the cat react to new people? Social? Fearful? Twinkle loves new people! She often goes up to them and explore.   If you have observed the cat with other animals, please describe how they get on? N/A. She was surrendered from a shelter environment where she did not do well with other cats.   Does that cat have any cute/quirky traits that aren’t covered by the previous questions? Twinkle loves making biscuits on soft things and purrs all the time when she's happy!   In your opinion, what is the best thing about the cat? Why should an adopter choose THIS cat to adopt? Twinkle has so much personality and sweetness. She's low-maintenance and friendly, and truly loves people. She's the best company!   What are the cat's challenges and how have you found to best manage them? None!
