Hi, I’m Mushie! I’m a sweet, gentle, 2-year-old girl who may be a little quiet at first, but once I feel safe and comfortable, my friendly personality starts to shine. I’m not the type of cat who needs to be the center of attention.I’m happiest when life is calm, predictable, and I have time to get to know you at my own pace.I’m a fairly quiet girl, and I really appreciate a peaceful environment. Loud noises can make me nervous, so I may retreat to a cozy hiding spot when things get too busy or noisy. Don’t worry, though. I’m usually nearby keeping an eye on things and waiting until I feel comfortable before I come back out. Give me some patience, a little encouragement, and a safe place to retreat, and I’ll gradually show you just how sweet I can be.I have moderate energy and enjoy playing throughout the day, especially when I’m in the mood for a little fun. I don’t need constant entertainment, but I do enjoy having toys available for those moments when my playful side comes out. A few short play sessions, some interesting things to explore, and a cozy place to nap make me pretty happy.When it comes to other cats, I’m a little selective. I currently live with another cat, and while I tolerate my feline roommate, I’m not necessarily looking for a home with a whole crew of cats. I can appreciate having a feline friend when personalities are compatible, but I also like having my own space. Slow introductions and allowing me to establish my comfort zone would be important if there are other cats in my new home.I’ve also met a dog, and I’ve shown that I may be open to living with one. I would probably do best with a calm, respectful canine pal who understands that cats like me need some personal space. A loud or unpredictable dog can be overwhelming, so I’d appreciate a buddy who can give me time to adjust and won’t chase or constantly try to interact with me.My dream home would be a quieter household where I can relax and feel secure. I’d do especially well with someone who understands that quiet, reserved cats don't always become instant cuddle-bugs, but I show my love in my own way. I may need a little time to settlein, but building trust with me will be so worth it!I’d love a home with cozy hiding places, comfortable beds, window perches, and a few toys to keep me entertained. Having places where I can climb, observe my surroundings, and retreat when I need some alone time would also help me gain confidence. Because I don't enjoy loud noises, I would be happiest in a home without a lot of chaotic activity, yelling, or unpredictable commotion. Calm and serene is the way I prefer to roll. If you're looking for a sweet, quiet companion who has a playful side and just needs a little patience to feel at home, I might be your girl.
