Gus is a sweet, 6-year-old, easygoing lap cat looking for his forever home!This sweetheart is a chill, affectionate orange guy.He loves your attention and will push his way in to curl up with you and snuggle. He just adores being petted and brushed, and will follow you everywhere–often plopping on the floor next to you to hang out.He also enjoys exploring all the nooks and crannies he can find. Ready for a conversation? Gus is chatty and is happy to tell you about his day while he’s lounging around with his favorite person (you). He’s not much of a playful fellow; he’d rather just go with the flow and chill. He may be a little reserved when first meeting new people, but once he realizes he’s safe, he will come and seek your attention.This mellow dude currently shares space in a duplex with two female humans (one is his foster mom), three resident female cats, and one female dog.Gus has allergies and takes his medication 2x/day; he handles it really well, with no issues. His people should be committed to administering his meds and maintaining his occasional follow-up visits with the vet, to keep him living his best life.He would thrive in a loving home where he can be a lap cat, with a forever person who works from home or is around frequently. Another relaxed cat or dog who matches his energy would also be great for him, as Gus hasn’t spent much time alone–and when he has, he tends to “explore” and sometimes try to be a little escape artist!
