09/15/26 16:32 Meet Hissarina! Hissarina is a 4-year-old cat who was sweet, handleable, and affectionate when she first arrived at the shelter. Unfortunately, the shelter environment has become increasingly stressful for her, and she has started to show signs of regression. She still has plenty of sweet, affectionate moments where she seeks attention and enjoys being social, but she can become overstimulated quickly. When she reaches her limit, she may sway away or hiss to communicate that she needs some space. Hissarina would benefit from a calm, quiet home where she can decompress, build trust at her own pace, and have her boundaries respected. With patience and understanding, this sensitive girl may be able to let her affectionate personality shine again.
