Bug is not currently up for adoption at our shelter - instead we are helping his previous owner's Family, by listing him as a Courtesy Listing in hopes we can help him find someone that will welcome Bug into their home!  Leah's contact info is down below for anyone potentially interested. Meet Bug: Your New Best Friend Could Be Just One Throw Away!  Bug is a handsome 6-year-old Border Collie mix with a big heart, a goofy personality, and plenty of love to give. After recently losing the person he loved most, Bug is looking for a new family to help him write his next chapter. About Bug: • 6 years old • Short-haired Border Collie mix • Approximately 70 pounds • Up-to-date on vaccinations (rabies due September 2027) • Wonderful with people and children • Loves playing fetch and spending time outdoors • Equally happy curling up beside you for snuggles afterward Bug is the perfect mix of active and affectionate. He'll happily chase a tennis ball around the yard, then come inside and soak up all the love and attention you're willing to give. His sweet nature and goofy antics are guaranteed to make you smile. His Ideal Home: Bug gets very excited when meeting new people and may greet them with an enthusiastic jump or nose boop. He is temporarily living with us after the death of his owner, but the dynamic of three dogs is proving overwhelming for everyone involved. He was never aggressive, but his energy level is more than our dogs enjoyed. Because of this, we believe Bug would thrive as the only dog in the home or possibly with a confident dog closer to his size and energy level. Bug has been through a lot of change in a short time. Despite losing his owner and having his world turned upside down, he remains a loving, loyal, and happy dog who simply wants a family to call his own again.
