Leroy- Looking for his Forever Home Again! Adopted from us just under a month ago, Leroy is back with us, and is with heartbreak that he returns... as he was so loved. His family tried their best to make it work, as this sweet baby slept with them every night and truly became their family member. His 'mom' let us know that his energy level vs. that of his elderly father while on a walk was just not something that was sustainable for them. They did let us know information about this sweet boy that we wouldn't have otherwise known, like he is crate trained, 100% housebroken, likes to nibble on you to take care of any fleas you may have (you know, the dog-flea-nibble) and that he is just a precious boy with such a loving soul! He has already been to his vet while with them and is one healthy guy! Meeting another canine friend here, he had a fast wagging tail, bouncing around as they sniffed one another- entertaining everyone with his quirky expressions! We don’t know how he does with cats and have no way to test for that. We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption to ensure a great fit. Please make sure forever is what you can provide for Leroy before you adopt!We are a first come, first served and in-person adoption center and are located at 430 Bristol Drive in Statesville, NC. We are open for adoptions Monday-Friday 12-5pm and Saturdays 11am-2pm.Leroy’s adoption fee is $80! All of our adoptable dogs/puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and UTD on all age-appropriate vaccines/preventatives. Adopters will need to establish vet care upon adopting to maintain their new family member’s health and wellness. We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption to ensure a great fit for all.And remember the 3-3-3 Rule when adopting a shelter pet. 3 days for your new pet to decompress3 weeks for your new family member to settle in3 months for them to build trustPlease bring a collar and leash OR purchase a combo from us for only $15 to safely take your new family home!
