Meet Arthur: Arthur came to us after a young woman reached out about a kitten she had spotted alone in the backyard of her apartment complex. At only about four months old, Arthur was trying to survive by eating whatever he could find, including garbage. He was trapped and brought to safety, where we quickly discovered just how much this little guy had been through. Arthur was starving, covered in fleas and had even been passing pieces of plastic from the garbage he had been eating. Despite everything, Arthur is an incredibly sweet little boy. Once he realized he was safe and had food, warmth and people who cared about him, his loving personality started to shine through. Now Arthur can concentrate on being a kitten — playing, exploring, chasing toys and enjoying all the things he should have been doing instead of trying to survive on his own.
