Meet Fresca, a German Shepherd mix with maybe a little Cattle Dog sprinkled in for seasoning. Whatever went into this recipe, the result is one ridiculously sweet, wiggly little girl with a smile that could get her out of approximately 97% of criminal charges. Fresca loves people, loves dogs, and does great with canine friends big and small. She’s shown no issues sharing food or treats, walks nicely on leash, already knows sit, and is food motivated—which means this smart little nugget is more than happy to negotiate her education in exchange for snacks.She’s playful, social, affectionate, and seemingly incapable of taking a bad picture. Seriously. WHY IS SHE SMILING IN ALL OF THEM?! Fresca arrived as an unclaimed stray with no collar, no tags and no microchip—just another homeless pup out here looking for love in all the wrong places. Somehow, though, she hasn't let that dull her sparkle. She is still overflowing with love and ready to give it all to somebody who finally chooses her.Fresca is ready for adventures, doggy friends, yard zoomies, snack-based higher education, and a family to grow up with. Come meet this bubbly little sweetheart and add some Fresca to your life.This pup will be available to meet starting on 9/26 They were rescued from a shelter in New Mexico.Meet and greets are by appointment only.  An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by using the link in their approval email.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees are non refundable once a pet is taken home.  Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.  While all dogs are picked up in Colorado, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances delaying pick up. Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.
