Bramble- our little one eyed hero

Bramble is a sweet boy who is looking for a new home. He is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter. Bramble may only have one eye but he has never let them slow him down. Bramble was picked up as a stray with his buddy Gibson back in August. He arrived at the shelter feeling a little unsure of everything, but with time, patience, and a little love, he has truly settled in and found his way. Now, Bramble is friendly, gentle, and ready to leave shelter life behind for a home of his own. He gets along well with other dogs who respect his personal space. Like many of us, he is not a fan of overly enthusiastic dogs bouncing directly in his face—he may give a quick lip raise to say, “Please give me a minute,” but that is all. He has never escalated beyond that, and it happened only with a very hyper pup.  Because of this he would probably be best as an only dog or with a laid back pup who understand not every dog wants to be jumped on. Bramble has no food or toy aggression and is simply looking for someone who will see the wonderful little guy he is: a loving, deserving dog who just needed a chance to feel safe. If you have room for a friendly pug who is ready for a fresh start, Bramble is waiting for you.  Bramble is neutered, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. He  tested negative  for heartworm.  His  adoption donation is $500. Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animal have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
