CHASE

Description

This dog is on the call to action list as we get to know him a bit better due to some defensive behavior that occurred upon intake. We know that intake into the shelter can be a highly stressful situation so we hope that as he gets more comfortable with the environment we will get to see more of his personality. His previous owners unfortunately needed to surrender Chase because they were moving and weren't able to bring him with them, plus one of their children had developed an allergy to him, but they reported that Chase is affectionate and well behaved at home. He is a loving family dog and is used to living with children. He knows basic commands such as sit, stay, come and down but he can be nervous around unfamiliar people and may bark.
