Meet Gator a 2 1/2 year old pit boxer mix that was originally found as a stray in Florida! The family that found Gator fell in love with him, and when he was unclaimed, they brought him home to Indiana, where they had two dogs of their own. Unfortunately, Gator could not acclimate to the dogs in the home. He would do best as an only pet. He has not been around children but I would recommend older children who know boundaries. Gator is potty trained and will whine at the door when he needs to go out. He is protective of his property and his people. This is a trait some people may or may not like so make sure you are ok with a dog who cares about your safety before choosing Gator as your next dog. Gator loves to play fetch and tug and really likes chewing on stuffed toys. He is a sweet boy who is ready for his perfect family to find him!
