Mr. Magoo

Mr. Magoo is a special kitty that needs a family to love. It could be congenital but he is likely to be blind at a very young age. We removed one of his eyes on 9 September and as you can see from his pictures, his eye is healing nicely. Unfortunately, you can also see from his picture that his other eye is cloudy and while he can see a little from that eye, it might give out on him soon. I am his foster and he is so gentle and playful. He loves to come and sit in my lap to get love. He lets me medicate his eye but he does not like to have his head petted. Mr. Magoo will likely be completely blind before he is one year old. He may or may not need his eye removed but if he does, we will help pay for the surgery. We are hoping that if he does lose sight, he will be able to keep his eye. Blind kittens fair very well and learn the ropes quickly so he will be able to adapt well to any home as long as there is love.
