This 3-year-old, 44-pound Belgian Malinois mix has a heart of gold and is a true people dog who wants nothing more than to be right by your side.Moshe is house-trained, fully vetted, and neutered. He walks decently on a leash, knows some basic commands, and is eager to learn more, especially if treats are involved! He has a moderate energy level and loves walks, fetch, tug-of-war, and spending time with his people.Moshe is also wonderfully goofy. You may find him sleeping flat on his back with all four legs in the air, or spinning in circles when the zoomies hit! He loves music, too, especially slow '90s country, and will happily settle in next to you to enjoy the tunes. When he's ready to relax, Moshe is always happy to claim an open spot on the couch for some serious snuggle time. He also does well entertaining himself with his favorite toys and stuffies.Moshe is looking for a home where he can be the only dog and the center of attention. He can get jealous when he has to share the spotlight, but he actually doesn't mind cats. He would do best with older children who can participate in his playtime and give him all the belly rubs he desires. Because Moshe is highly people-oriented, he would thrive in a home where someone works from home or is around often. Moshe has had a big transition in his life, coming to us from Hawaii after being surrendered to Animal Control. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
