Meet Spider-Man! ️❤️ Don’t let the superhero name fool you—Spider-Man is actually a sweet, happy little puppy who is still figuring out the world around him! This adorable 16.8-pound Shih Tzu/Cocker Spaniel mix can be a little timid when he encounters something new. Walking into a new home, going through a doorway, or tackling a set of steps can make him stop and think for a minute. But once Spider-Man gets comfortable and learns his routine, his confidence starts to grow and his playful personality comes out. Spider-Man loves everyone he meets and is good with both dogs and cats. He's affectionate, goofy, playful, and enjoys his toys. He's also crate trained and does well in the car. He's still learning about leash walking and, when something feels scary, he may simply decide that lying flat is the safest option! He's a puppy—he's learning, and he's making great progress. He's also working hard on his potty training and is doing really well. He's only had one accident so far! Like any young puppy, Spider-Man is still learning that hands aren't chew toys, so his new family will need to gently redirect that puppy enthusiasm toward appropriate toys and continue working on his manners. Spider-Man is a quieter puppy with moderate energy and could be happy in an apartment or a home. What he really needs isn't a particular type of house—he needs a family willing to give him patience, consistency, and positive encouragement as he learns to navigate all the new things life has to offer. With a little time and a predictable routine, this sweet boy blossoms into the happy, playful puppy he was meant to be. And let's be honest…who wouldn't want their very own Spider-Man? ️ Spider-Man's superpowers: Being adorable, making friends with everyone, bouncing back once he feels comfortable, and making you smile every single day! Spider-Man is up to date on vaccines. Spider-Man has been neutered and has a microchip. His adoption fee is $600.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
