Opal is a sweet, gentle girl who is about 3–4 years old and looking for a loving home of her own. She was rescued over a year ago after being found outside, underweight, as winter was approaching. Since then, she has received a full veterinary evaluation and is now healthy, up-to-date on her veterinary care, and maintained on Bravecto. Opal is a very passive and affectionate cat who absolutely loves her people. She is a true lap cat and enjoys being petted, spending time with her humans, and playing. Her gentle nature and love of human companionship make her a wonderful little companion. Because Opal becomes stressed around other animals, she would do best as the only pet in the home—no cats or dogs, please. Given her difficult start in life, an indoor-only home is strongly preferred so she can enjoy the safety and security she deserves. Her current family wants nothing more than to see Opal settled into a loving, permanent home where she can be cherished. They are happy to send her with her familiar supplies, including toys, litter box, food bowls, and anything else she needs to help make her transition comfortable.
