Our listed dogs ARE READY IMMEDIATELY; we only meet with families WHO ARE READY TO ADOPT! IF YOU APPLY and if WE APPROVE YOU it means we are assuming when you meet any of our dogs and fall in love you're ready to ADOPT AND HIM OR HER HOME! Meet Sheba & Coco! they do not need to be rehomed together; they can be kept together if someone is interested, but will also be fine in different separate homes! If you’ve ever dreamed of sharing your life with a Newfoundland, Sheba and Coco are two beautiful examples of everything that makes this breed so special. Gentle, loyal, sweet, and absolutely wonderful with children, these two have the big hearts and loving personalities that Newfoundlands are known for. Sheba and Coco have grown up with four children under the age of eight, and they have been incredibly good with their little humans. They are patient, loving, and wonderful family companions. But even the sweetest gentle giants appreciate a little peace and quiet! Their owners believe Sheba and Coco would be happiest in homes that offer a calmer, more peaceful environment. It’s not that they don’t love children—they absolutely do! They just don’t necessarily need to hear little voices, running feet, and household excitement 24 hours a day. ❤️ These two have moderate energy at best and are happiest enjoying the comforts of home. They love staying inside, especially when the weather is warm, but are also happy to spend time on leisurely walks when it’s cold. They are pretty good on a leash, provided their walking companion is strong enough to handle their impressive size and strength! Newfoundlands are often called gentle giants, and Sheba and Coco truly embody that description. They are affectionate, devoted, and sweet-natured dogs who would love to find a family or families that appreciates their loving personalities and their preference for a relaxed lifestyle. We’re definitely looking for people who have extra large breed experience for either or both of these two big beauties; they’re extremely uncommon in Texas and definitely prefer being inside when it is hot outdoors. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities.   We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD.
