Meet Our 8-Month-Old Great Dane Mix! This gorgeous girl is 8 months old and already about 60 lbs —but don’t let her size fool you. She’s still very much a puppy in a big-dog body! She is incredibly loving, sweet and social and absolutely loves other dogs. She enjoys playing with canine friends and does a great job respecting another dog when they tell her she’s being a little too much . Because she enjoys that companionship so much, we think she would be especially happy in a home with another friendly, confident dog who enjoys playing and can help show her the ropes. And one of her favorite things? Swimming! If there’s water involved, this girl is ready for fun. She appears to be house-trained and has been doing wonderfully with no accidents in her foster home. She’s also working on crate training and is doing great—she stays crated while her foster family is at work and settles nicely. Like most adolescent puppies, she still has some growing up to do. She can be pushy, demanding and a little overenthusiastic , and when you put that puppy personality into a 60-pound body, manners become pretty important! She’ll need an adopter who has experience with larger dogs or is committed to putting the time into continued training. With the right family willing to guide her through the rest of puppyhood, she is going to be an amazing companion.      Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico.
