Captain Shane Howlander & Hudson Growliams (Court)

Description

Shane & Hudson (both boys) are recent street cat rescues and have transitioned beautifully to indoor life in the past month & change. Both are adept at clay and pellet litter boxes, and are still learning about indoor noises but have adapted well with time (the dishwasher, laundry machines, and A/C no longer startle them at all). They’re fully up to date on their vaccines (Shane has one booster left on 9/28), are neutered, treated for fleas, have had a professional groom to get the street off of them, have clean bills of health from the vet with vet records available, and are microchipped. They may be very timid at first and take a little time to get comfortable with new people, but once they warm up, they’re total goofy loverboys who love to play and be pet and explore. Hudson quickly decided he likes being a lap cat and loves to cuddle nearby. Shane hasn’t discovered laps yet but he will knock you over for pets and flop on your feet for belly rubs (YES he means it!). They love to play with wand toys (Shane is OBSESSED with a suede tassel one) and chaser toys, and they enjoy watching out the window. While they haven’t really discovered cat beds yet, they have started to sleep on chairs/furniture, though they do love sleeping in the sink or on hard floors as well. Not sure how they will do with dogs or small children, but they have had experience with other cats and did just fine. Since they do still have some street cat skittishness and quirks, they may do a little better with an experienced cat owner but it’s not a hard requirement. Would love for them to go together if possible since they play & cuddle a lot together (suspect they’re half-brothers), but they can be split up too if need to be.
