Description

Callie is a super sweet petite gal at only 22# and approximately 2 y/o. Our guess is a mini Australian Shepherd or Border Collie mix who got a longer leg gene than her siblings (Murphy and Millie). She was a young mother in a hoarding situation in TX but those days are behind her now. She will be shy at first and is a bit worried about the world but treats help with her confidence building. Callie gets along great with all dogs, young and old, big and small. She knows how to use the doggie door and is potty trained. Callie is a medium energy dog that is just as happy curling up on the couch with you. She enjoys her crate with her blankie in it. Learning to walk on leash is going well but she will need practice and patience with leash walks out in the big world. Callie is not a good fit with cats but a respectful child 10+ may be considered. She would prefer a quieter home without a lot of chaos. A low key apartment situation may be considered on a case by case basis if her person is home a lot, she gets outside frequently, and there aren’t a lot of scary distractions.
