Big “WOW.” Wet Paws. Breakfast? Wow. A feather toy? Wow. My own tail? How long has THAT been there?! Hi, I’m Jammie Dodger, a little orange tabby with a face made for a starring role in an animated movie. My slightly crooked lower lip makes me look like I’m forever whispering “wow”—because apparently, being this adorable needed a little extra character. My story started when I arrived at a feral colony as a tiny, frightened stray. I wasn’t convinced humans could be trusted, but I was convinced dinner was worth showing up for. After about a week of patient care, I made an important discovery: people come with food AND affection. Wow. Now I happily seek out attention, enjoy being petted, and like being held. I have an independent streak, too—I’m an affectionate little sidekick who still appreciates doing things his own way. For example, I like to stand in my water bowl. You see drinking water. I see a tiny personal foot spa. Please respect my vision. At about 3 months old, I’m neutered, vaccinated, healthy, and ready for my forever home. I’m looking for someone who will appreciate my sweet personality, wonderfully expressive face, and slightly unconventional approach to water bowls. A family of my very own? Now THAT would be my biggest “wow” yet. Adoptions are generally limited to an approximately 150-mile radius of Locust Grove, Georgia. Exceptions may be considered under certain circumstances.   The adoption fee for all cats is $125. Each cat receives: Age-appropriate vaccinations Spay or neuter surgery FeLV/FIV testing Deworming Flea prevention A microchip registered to the adopter To apply to adopt, please complete our Preliminary Adoption Application. Submitting an application does not commit you to adopting. It allows us to determine whether the pet is a good match for your home and family. As part of the approval process, we verify the veterinary history of current and previous pets, including annual vaccinations and spay/neuter status. Please contact your veterinarian in advance and authorize them to release this information to Street Paws You must have an approved application before scheduling a meeting with a pet.
