"Courtesy Post" This pet is not in the custody of Street Paws. We are assisting a family with placing their pet to help the pet find a suitable home.  UNDEROOS: Tiny Undies. Huge Heart. BIG Appetite. Most kittens wear fur. I came with accessories. I’m Underoos, a young black kitten with a tiny white patch on my chest and an adorable white marking that makes me look like I’m wearing little underwear. A fashion statement? Absolutely. The inspiration for my name? You bet! My brother, Jammie Dodger, and I showed up at a feral colony looking for food and safety. He decided people were pretty great fairly quickly. Me? I needed a little more convincing. For two weeks, I worked very hard to maintain my reputation as a spicy, independent girl who definitely, absolutely did NOT need cuddles. Then I tried cuddles. My entire argument fell apart. These days, I love being held, adore being petted, and consider your lap my personal happy place. Sometimes I’ll stretch right across my favorite human—because why settle for a little closeness when you could have all the closeness? I’m not shy about asking for affection, either. Those hands aren’t going to put themselves to work! There’s just one thing that rivals my love of snuggles: FOOD. ️ If food had a fan club, I’d be the president, founding member, and official taste tester. Mealtime is a major event in my world, and snack time? Also a major event. I believe in celebrating the important things. Behind my once-tough little exterior was a girl just waiting to feel safe enough to share her enormous heart. Now I’m ready for a forever home where I can bring the love, the laughs, and a very healthy enthusiasm for dinner. Have room for a lap-loving foodie in fancy little undies? I’m your girl! Adoptions are generally limited to an approximately 150-mile radius of Locust Grove, Georgia. Exceptions may be considered under certain circumstances.   The adoption fee for all cats is $125. Each cat receives: Age-appropriate vaccinations Spay or neuter surgery FeLV/FIV testing Deworming Flea prevention A microchip registered to the adopter To apply to adopt, please complete our Preliminary Adoption Application. Submitting an application does not commit you to adopting. It allows us to determine whether the pet is a good match for your home and family. As part of the approval process, we verify the veterinary history of current and previous pets, including annual vaccinations and spay/neuter status. Please contact your veterinarian in advance and authorize them to release this information to Street Paws You must have an approved application before scheduling a meeting with a pet.
