Hi, I’m Winifred, but you can call me Winnie! I’m a young orange girl looking for a home with sunny windows, cozy laps, and a human who doesn’t mind occasionally doubling as a perch. Yes, I like sitting on shoulders. Why should birds have all the fun? My favorite activities include climbing cat trees, investigating boxes, supervising the world from a window, and perfecting the art of sunbathing. I’ve got plenty of playful, kitten-like energy—but when it’s time to recharge, your lap might just be my favorite spot. There’s one little thing you should know: I like to take introductions slowly. New places and new feline friends can feel a little overwhelming at first. Give me patience, a gentle welcome, and time to settle in, and you’ll get to watch my curious, affectionate personality blossom. Think of it as earning your way into a very exclusive friendship! I’d especially love a home with another cat who could become my buddy, with time for us to get acquainted at our own pace. Have a sunny window, a little patience, and an available shoulder? You might be my purrfect person. Adoptions are generally limited to an approximately 150-mile radius of Locust Grove, Georgia. Exceptions may be considered under certain circumstances.   The adoption fee for all cats is $125. Each cat receives: Age-appropriate vaccinations Spay or neuter surgery FeLV/FIV testing Deworming Flea prevention A microchip registered to the adopter To apply to adopt, please complete our Preliminary Adoption Application. Submitting an application does not commit you to adopting. It allows us to determine whether the pet is a good match for your home and family. As part of the approval process, we verify the veterinary history of current and previous pets, including annual vaccinations and spay/neuter status. Please contact your veterinarian in advance and authorize them to release this information to Street Paws You must have an approved application before scheduling a meeting with a pet.
