Meet Mitzi At 8 years old and just 10 pounds, Mitzi is a sweet Shih Tzu mix who believes life is best enjoyed at a leisurely pace. This little girl is low-key, gentle, and happiest when she can curl up beside her person for a cozy nap.Mitzi is starting to come out of her shell and discover her playful side. She enjoys being around other dogs and is beginning to have fun playing — although, naturally, a good play session is best followed by a nice long nap! Her favorite places to relax are the couch and the bed, where she can happily snooze the day away.She is housebroken, well-behaved in the home, and walks nicely on a leash. Mitzi hasn't been using a crate, but doesn’t get into things in the house and would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm, easygoing dog to share their days with. She has not been exposed to cats, so her compatibility with them is unknown.Mitzi doesn’t hear very well, and she takes medication to help with her dry eyes, but she doesn’t let either slow her down. She is simply looking for someone who will love her for exactly who she is and give her the peaceful, happy retirement she deserves.  She would do best with older children who respect her space and can understand she needs to enjoy life at a slower pace.  Mitzi is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.  If you’re looking for a sweet little companion who would much rather cuddle, relax, and enjoy the simple things in life, Mitzi may be the perfect girl for you.
