Description
To adopt please fill out an adoption application. AWESOME DOG! Be sure to watch her video! Leia is a 6yo female lab mix being surrendered by her owner in Memphis who no can no longer care for her. Friendly, well-socialized, never meets a stranger. Gentle, affectionate, loving. LOVES KIDS and she’s very gentle with the family’s young children. Great with other dogs and would welcome a dog buddy in her new home. Not recommended for cats because she likes to BARK at them. Low maintenance, good house manners. Crate-trained and housebroken. Obedience trained and knows basic commands. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Weighs about 55 pounds. In Dec 2025, Leia was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy but her condition is well controlled with meds $50 per month. Spayed and current on all vetting. This is an awesome lab mix who will make a great companion (and jogging partner) for an active family with kids who love the breed.
