***Grant is currently located at our rescue in Georgia but also available for adoption in the New Jersey area. He will be transported to New Jersey and available for adoption at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes if not adopted prior to Sept 25. Questions about Grant and/or our adoption process should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the Rescue's number.*** In June 2026, We were asked to help a man who not only found a number of adult dogs left tied to trees in the woods, but also had a couple of litters of puppies from two female dogs that he had. One of those dogs was his personal dog, a Bully mix, that had eight puppies born on May 2.While we were able to find immediate help for a number of the dogs on his property, it wasn't until August, two months later, that this man finally surrendered five of the eight puppies to our rescue. We are in the process of trying to help this man get the remainder of his dogs spay and neutered.  If you're looking to add a very friendly, playful and well-socialized puppy to your home, then look no further than Grant. Grant will bring endless hours of love and fun into your home and he'll make a great play buddy for another dog within the same home. Prior to his adoption, Grant will have received 2 of his 3 first year "puppy" vaccinations, been de-wormed on multiple occasions and started on his flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. His adopter must agree to having Grant neutered once he reaches 6 months old and provide verification of such to our rescue. Grant will require all of his basic training.
