Meet Skye Sweet 4-year-old Chihuahua mix Skye is looking for someone who will show her that the world isn't such a scary place. Skye came to us through a seizure case and sadly, she wasn't living in the best conditions. Because of her past, she is very under-socialized and nervous about the world around her. She has a sweet demeanor and truly wants love, but she's still learning what to do when someone gives her the affection she deserves. Skye came in with three other dogs and seems to be dog friendly. A dog test will be required with any current dogs in the home. We aren't sure how she feels about cats, so super slow and patient introductions would be best. We are also unsure how Skye will feel around children, so we ask that the whole family come to the meet and greet. Skye isn't looking for a perfect home. She's looking for a patient one. A home willing to give her time to decompress, move at her own pace, and gently show her that people can be kind, life can be safe, and the world isn't all bad. Once Skye learns she's safe, we think there's going to be a whole lot of love waiting to come out. Skye is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
