Description

Meet Anna! This beautiful 3-year-old Beagle girl is about 25 pounds of pure love, and she is ready to find a forever family to adore.Anna is the ultimate lovebug! She absolutely loves being held, getting pets, or simply curling up right next to her person. She has never met a stranger—when someone new comes along, Anna happily walks right over with a wagging tail, sometimes even putting her paw out as if to say, “Pick me up!” She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate and would love a home where someone is around often because she truly prefers having company.Anna is a pretty easygoing girl. Inside the house, she is usually content lounging on the couch beside you, relaxing in bed, watching TV, or soaking up the sunshine. She loves going for walks, running around the yard, and riding in the car. Toys don’t seem to interest her much—she’d much rather spend time with her human! Anna has been wonderful with every dog she’s met. She gets excited to see potential dog friends, immediately starts wagging her tail, and is very calm and friendly with them. She would likely enjoy having a canine companion in her forever home. Her experience with cats is unknown, although her foster thinks she would probably just want to hang out with them. She has not yet been around children, but given her gentle, low-key personality, she may do well with respectful kids.Anna has also been an absolute dream in her foster home. She has had only one accident in the house on her first day and now lets her foster know she needs to go outside by sitting on the mat near the door. She willingly goes into her crate when her foster leaves and has done well for up to four hours, most likely just sleeping the whole time. She’s definitely not an early bird either—she happily sleeps in until she knows her person is awake! Anna is quiet, too. Her foster hasn’t heard her bark in the past week, and she only occasionally whines when she needs to go outside. She isn’t fearful of noises and instead seems curious about everything going on around her. She is a wonderful mix of low-key and playful—happy to lounge beside you indoors but ready to run around and enjoy the yard when she’s outside.Sweet, loving, gentle, social, and incredibly easy to have around, Anna’s foster says it best: “This is a great dog!” Anna is looking for a forever home where she can be loved, included, and—most importantly—near her people. If you’re looking for a devoted little Beagle who wants nothing more than to be your best friend and cuddle buddy, Anna may be your girl! Bcaaofnj.org
