About MeHello! I'm Ellie, a gentle senior lady who’s mastered the art of relaxation! I have a low-key vibe and a love of cozy naps. In fact, I'm happiest curled up in a soft spot or snuggled close for a cuddle—I'm a true professional when it comes to purring and making you feel loved!My favorite moments are mealtimes—I'm a big fan of soft food—and when I'm getting pampered with gentle brushing. I love brushing so much, I'll rub against the brush if the bristles are left up. I adore catnip toys and will happily lounge while you go about your day. But I'll run to the door when I hear you coming!I have limited sight, so I prefer calm environments and slow introductions to new people. I love humans, even though I hide from new ones. I'm sweet and affectionate with them, but I do like my space when it comes to other pets. I’ll let you know with a hiss if another animal gets too close... but I'm never aggressive! I wouldn't say I need to be an only pet... I just like to have a place to retreat.I've never been around dogs, though. Those are foreign to me. I'm also not a huge fan of young kids... too energetic for me.I am not litter box-trained: I don't remember to cover up after myself, so my litter box needs daily cleaning. I do use my scratching post, though.
